::MANAGERIAL ECONOMICS (ECO556)::

YUP! Thats rite .. This is the subject that i take for intersesi .. ECO556 ..

last monday is my 1st class for intersesi .. the lecturer's name is Nor Azira Ismail .. as we all know, briefing will be given before the actual class start..

 at that class .. she gave a little briefing about what is ME is all about .. and not forget about the requirement that we have to follow during the intersesi period ..

so, she continue her lecturer after that .. she told us what is managerial economics.. she said ME will explain the managerial/ firms behaviour .. ME also use the  economic theory and decision science to examine how firm manage their organization effectively.. and usually an organization will have objective that will guide them to success which is to maximize profits and minimize cost..

she also tell us what is economic and decision science therory ..

eco theory contain 2 factor which is micro-eco (individual study) 

and macro-eco (overall study)..while decison science contain 2 factors too which is math-eco and econometrics..

after she explain the introduction, she continue the lecture to the hard part which is CALCULATION !! haha [dislike calculation..lalala~]

so, she told us that we have to remember the 'rumus-rumus' to answer question later.. and a few of it I have learn from her lecture which is :

TR (total revenue) = PxQ ( price X quantity )

Accounting profit = TR - Acc cost / EXPLICIT cost

Economic profit = TR - Eco cost

                      = TR - explicit cost - IMPLICIT cost

                      = acc profit - implicit cost

Economic cost = explicit cost (actual cost) - implicit cost (foregone cost)

* and to make decision which one is the best, we have to chooce from the economic profit

thats what i learn from the 1st class of intersesi ..

but the sad is she will not teach us anymore.. coz the HEA has rearrage back the class for intersesi in this semester whereby the number of student in a class is not balance and it will give problem if they dont rearrage back ..

so, I get the new class .. the lecturer's name is En. Razak @ ABAH .. hikhik..coz this lecturer is my ex-housemate last semester ..

but the class is postpone to next week because he has work to do this week..

so, me and my classmate will have to wait until next week before the class start..hopefully this lecturer can manage to teach us perfectly .. aminn :))

so, in the mean time .. im in Johor Bahru now at my hometown.. Sunday i will go back to SEGAMAT .. and Monday my class will be on ..
